Good rain knows the best time to fall

Be honest, how many times have you complained about the rain?

How many times have you seen the rain as something that's stopping you do want you want to do?

Stopping the sun from shining and affecting your mood?

Rain rain go away, come again another day

We were told not to play in the rain, maybe this holds us back in more ways than we can truly understand.

The question is why can't we play in the rain?

Growing up in England the weather is something we tend to obsess about.

It's a 'safe and personally unobtrusive topic'

What if I told you, you have been thinking about the rain in the wrong way?

The rain can help you with personal development and growth

"Some people feel the rain, others just get wet." - Bob Marley

As we move into the summer I have been thinking about the rain a lot as a metaphor for our day-to-day lives.

Stop worrying about what we can't control

We have no control over the rain so why worry about it until it happens?

Often we wait for the rain, just like we wait and worry about problems to happen.

The thought of the rain is usually worse than the rain itself, and often our biggest problems are the ones that never happened.

This should remind us that we cannot stop what can't be stopped.

The world will turn, the seasons change, the rain falls, and life goes on.

Growth

We need rain for growth.

It reminds all things to grow.

If we reframe our perceived worries and problems as areas for growth our entire outlook changes.

Just as rain nurtures the earth and promotes growth, challenges can provide opportunities for personal development and improvement.

When we grow, we stop complaining, take accountability, and move forward at a pace we didn't think was possible.

Resilience and adaptability

The rain teaches us resilience and adaptability.

It falls indiscriminately, affecting everyone in its path.

Life's challenges are inevitable and affect individuals from all walks of life.

You always have the power to adapt and thrive despite unfavourable circumstances.

Embrace change

Ah, Change!!

Rain reminds us of the importance of embracing change. Rainfall is essential for renewal, cleansing, and rejuvenation.

Change is often a catalyst for growth.

Embracing change and stepping out of comfort zones can lead to breakthroughs and new possibilities.

''The measure of intelligence is the ability to change." - Albert Einstein

Patience and acceptance

Rain teaches us the value of patience and acceptance. It doesn't adhere to our desires or schedules; it follows its own rhythm.

You need to cultivate patience and acceptance for your own progress and journey.

Don't compare and look around, concentrate on improving your own 1 % every day.

Success may not come overnight, but with dedication and perseverance, you can achieve your goals.

Stand in the rain

Reframe the rain, reframe your thoughts.

Use it as an opportunity to learn and create calmness.

View challenges as opportunities, adapt to change, embrace patience, and foster resilience.

You can dread the rain, or you can love it.

The choice is yours.

Learn to look forward to things you used to dread.

See them differently.

Remember good rain knows the best time to fall.
